Just some short snippets from Patrick’s Keg Bus Birthday. Yes, a Keg Bus. We boarded the bar-reeking transport and ventured to a couple of Virginia wineries. The latter events of the day I hardly remember — I doubt others (aka the victims of my inebriation) were so lucky — but I do recall the nuttiness captured on the included film. I wonder if my bday will hold such shenanigans in New Orleans.

My second assignment for the photography class was a little less inspiring. I’m not exactly wild about portraits to begin with — it’s often so staged and cliche — but trying to capture compelling images while on a birthday wine trip (aboard a Keg Bus, no less) isn’t exactly easy. Nevertheless, I pulled together a fairly comprehensive set of images that seemed to please the class. And it challenged me to a degree, so I guess the objective was accomplished.

They’re actually not as evil as you might think; at least judging from these STELLAR photos taken by Jessica Florence. I’ve never actually had an aversion to rodents — go figure — and actually grew up with all manner of mouse and related furry critter. I don’t know how she managed to pose these little guys, but I’m thoroughly impressed. Awesome inspiration for my photography class. You can see more at Jessica’s site.

These would come in sooo handy during annoying business meetings. Simply politely slide one across the table to the rambling dbag who has nothing meaningful to contribute. You know the type I’m talking about. At $8, how you could not get these?

And while this token is pretty polite by comparison, I imagine it’s only a matter of time before the STFU cards hit the street.

I need to hit the Lego store this weekend and pick up some storm troopers. Just love the look and form of these lil guys. Although, photo projects of them are getting a tad worn out.
