Sadly, there’s nothing evil about this post. Great friends Matt and Alex got married last month in Provincetown, and Dale and I were honored to attend. Alex’s very talented photographer cousin, Anthony, took some truly amazing and memorable photos. So here are some of Dale and me. Documented happiness — it’s a rarity!

As Patrick would say, seeing Pink at the 930 Club a few years ago was “life changing.” :) Pink is by far my favorite rocker chick. Her style just keeps getting better. I don’t know if I can say the same for her lyrics just yet…what does “an instigator of underwear” mean?

I mean, sure, it’s pretty off-putting, but it’s not like artist, Lisa Black, killed the animals in the process…they were already dead. And you have to admit, there’s something gentle and sweet about fixing the broken remnants, and in a way that takes far more care and consideration. (Although, some of the “fixes” look a might Borg-ish). It’s definitely creepy and complex, but very intriguing too.

Lisa Black’s series, “Fixed,” is a body of work that features taxidermy animals (often found broken) that have been modified, or fixed, with mechanical parts such as antique hardware or old clock parts.

Still not as cool as this DIY…some day I’ll get to doing that myself.

The first book to focus on new gothic art, “Hell Bound” highlights a generation of contemporary artists who are increasingly obsessed with the darker things in life. Illustrators, street artists, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, installation artists and painters are all reflecting this renewed interest in gothic imagery. Horror has become a more accepted part of everyday life – and art, as always, is a reflection of life.

This is officially one of the weirdest sites I’ve come across, which continues the zombie pervasion this month. These swords/weapons are actually for sale. Check out the Urban Bone Machete or the Two-Faced Bitch. Kickass tagline.

Can’t save the world? Then prepare for its end.

I certainly don’t need any more watches considering my collection of Nixon pieces, but this watch by Marc Jacobs could convince to me step outside of my comfort brands. The question, though, is whether something like this could be worn all year round. It is a bit conspicuous.
